As I was passing by the Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center in dawned on me that today, December 12, is celebrated by Catholics as the Feast Day of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Honoring the Blessed Virgin Mary's appearance to a poor indigenous Mexican man named Juan Diego in 1531 and the miraculous appearance of the image of "La Virgin" on St. Juan Diego's tilma (cloak).
